Stožac Peak

Besides Klek, Stožac is a favorite hiking destination for local mountaineers and nature enthusiasts from Ogulin. It stands at an elevation of 808 meters and got its name from its cone-like shape. From the very top, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Just below the summit, there is a small hut. A nature lover, Mr. Mijo Stipetić, built around 350 steps made of beech logs to make the ascent easier — the people of Ogulin affectionately named them Mijo’s steps.
